Module 2: Leadership & Strategy
CGP teaches Compensation of the CEO, Directors and Executives within this module.
This module will help you hone your strategic thinking skills, understand the difference between strategic planning and operational effectiveness, and develop your own strategic leadership style that fosters planning, measurement, accountability, and communication. You’ll learn how to evaluate and set effective board and director expectations, plan CEO succession, and balance stakeholder relationships. You’ll also review strategic planning for IT, risk governance, and compensation committees.
Module 5: Board Simulation
Unique to The Directors College, this final module lets you experience realistic board situations, complete with professional actors to bring the simulation to life. This module is rated as the highlight of the program, providing a dynamic opportunity to bring together all the lessons and behavioural strategies you’ve learned throughout the four previous modules.

CORPORATE GOVERNANCE BEST PRACTICES SURVEY 2022
In partnership with Governance Professionals of Canada, Compensation Governance Partners conducted the 2022 Corporate Governance Best Practices Survey.
The survey assisted us in obtaining valuable insight into the current corporate governance landscape in Canada and provided a comprehensive analysis of corporate governance practices, trends and issues.
The survey responses also assisted in creating a short-list of companies for each of the categories in the GPC's Excellence in Governance Awards. The winners of the EG Awards were honored in November 2022.

Last month, Compensation Governance Partners (CGP) conducted a pulse survey to collect feedback on COVID-19’s effect on executive compensation and corporate governance. In this webinar, CGP will share the results of the survey and how organizations across Canada are reacting in this disruptive time of uncertainty.
