Who is CGP?

Compensation Governance Partners (CGP) is an independent advisor on executive compensation and governance matters. We support Boards and Management by seeking to understand their challenges and then drawing from a diverse set of experiences, ideas and opinions to offer tailored solutions; all the while keeping best practices top of mind.

After over a decade working for large multinational consultancies and publicly traded organizations, the founders of CGP wanted to return to their consulting roots: providing unfettered advice. Put simply, no conflicts or bias.

At CGP, we are compensation experts with a focus on executive pay. That said, our clients often need advice in other areas. To meet that need, we have partnered with HR consultancies who share a similar vision and are experts in their field. We have also partnered with best in class international compensation boutiques to cover our client needs outside of Canada.

Our structure permits creativity and agility in decision making. It gives us the flexibility needed to put our clients first. This is a crucial part of our culture: empowering decision making to drive the best solutions for our clients.
